Calling Line ID (CLID) Change

Account Wide Calling line ID or Individual User(s) Profile Calling line ID name and/or number:

To update your Account wide calling line ID (CLID)
1- login to voice.primus.ca
2- change view from basic to advance
3- click on admin setting
4- scroll down and click on profile
5- update your company name in the middle of the page
6- enter the phone number you wish to be used as the default outbound calling (this will be a local phone number existing on your account)
7- click save

This will update the CLID for all your users at once. 

To update a user profile name or number to be anything else than local (Canadian, United State, Toll-Free, etc) you will need to do the following:
1- login to voice.primus.ca
2- change view from basic to advance
3- click on users at bottom left
4- in the list find the user to update and check mark it
5- click on manage users at bottom of the page

This will do a pop-up page, on this page you will do the following:
1- change view from basic to advance
2- click on user profile located on left side
3- change CLID name from old name/employee name to new name/employee name
4- change the CLID number to custom
5- enter the phone number you wish to be shown on recipient phones (the DID can be Canadian, United State, Toll-Free, etc)
6- click on save at bottom of the page

This will update the CLID for this particular user but not any other users in the company. 

If all users needs to use a custom number when dialing out, you will need to repeat the steps listed above.
